Our school will host the first edition of the AEFE's AMLASUD Sports Games!

From November 9 to 14, our school will be proud to host, at its Vitacura campus, the first edition of the AEFE AMLASUD Sports Games, an event that will bring together students from various French high schools in South America to celebrate sports, learning, and cultural exchange.

This week, 60 students in 5ème and 4ème from French high schools in Arequipa, Concepción, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, and São Paulo, along with students from our school, will share a unique athletic and educational experience.

Much more than just a sports competition

This first edition has a special educational goal: to train students to become young referees, fostering the development of skills such as leadership, responsibility, decision-making, respect for the rules, and teamwork.

To put what they’ve learned into practice, our CM1 and CM2 students will participate in various sports events, where the young referees will have the opportunity to take on their new role.

In this way, the AMLASUD Games aim to make sports an educational tool that promotes fundamental values such as respect, solidarity, cooperation, and fair play.

Follow the Games with our young reporters!

A team of 12 young reporters from our school will be in charge of covering the various activities, interviewing the participants, and sharing the highlights of this first edition.

The entire community will be able to follow our coverage and discover the latest news about the Games through a section on our website dedicated specifically to the event.

An event made possible by our entire community

We would like to extend a special thank you to the host families, who will generously welcome the visiting students into their homes, making this exchange and cultural immersion experience possible.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the teaching, athletic, and administrative staff, as well as to everyone who has contributed with enthusiasm and dedication to the organization of this great event.

We wish all participants the best of luck and hope that this first edition will mark the beginning of a great sporting and educational tradition for our AEFE network in South America!
