The Lycée Alliance Française Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is administered by the “Alianza Francesa de Santiago Educational Corporation,” a nonprofit organization that seeks to contribute to the country’s educational development, in accordance with the general guidelines of the Chilean public education system, through the study of the French language and culture, by means of the joint efforts of its members and in coordination with teachers, parents, students, and school staff.
The governing bodies of the Corporation are: the Principal of the Lycée de l’Alliance Française Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the Board of Directors, and the General Assembly of Members.
The principal is the head of the school and is responsible for educational matters.
The Board of Directors is responsible for managing the Corporation in administrative, economic, and financial matters, with broad authority to administer and dispose of its assets, as well as to take the actions and enter into the contracts necessary for its operation.
The Board of Directors is also responsible for proposing to the General Assembly of Members the amounts of the admission, enrollment, regular, and special fees that Members must pay for each student enrolled at the Lycée.
It is composed of 9 honorary members. One serves ex officio (President of the Parents’ Association), 6 are appointed by the Founding Members (4 by the Alliance Française and 2 by the “Alliance Française du Chili” Corporation), and 2 are elected by the General Assembly of Members. The latter must be active members and serve a one-year term, with the right to be reelected.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors is also the president of the Corporation and represents it in and out of court.

The Annual General Meeting of Members is one of the main forums for participation by the school community. It is a forum for discussing and voting on the Corporation president’s report, the financial audit, and tuition rates for the following year.
According to the Corporation's bylaws, there are three categories of members with the right to speak and vote at the Assembly: Founding Members, Active Members, and Supporting Members.
While all families may attend the Assembly, voting is reserved solely for active members of the Corporation. The financial representatives of each family may be active members. To apply for active membership, please fill out the application form and send it to corporacion@lafase.cl
