It serves more than 2,200 students, from Petite Section (PS) through Terminale (12th grade). It is the school’s main campus and a leader in Franco-Chilean education, where tradition and innovation come together to offer a well-rounded, bilingual education that is open to the world.
Its expansive green spaces, courtyards, gardens, and sports facilities promote student well-being and learning in a privileged environment. The campus features modern classrooms, science labs, libraries, art studios, music rooms, gyms, multipurpose sports fields, and a comprehensive infrastructure designed to support students’ development at every stage of their schooling.
As a school belonging to the network of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), the school offers an internationally recognized education of excellence that combines the best of the French and Chilean educational systems. Our students develop high-level academic skills, proficiency in several languages, and a solid well-rounded education, preparing them to pursue higher education both in Chile and abroad.
The Vitacura campus is also known for its vibrant school life, with a wide range of athletic, artistic, scientific, and cultural activities that enrich the educational experience and foster the development of talents, independence, and civic engagement.
The history of this venue began on June 6, 1956, when the groundbreaking ceremony was held in the presence of the President of the Republic of Chile, Carlos Ibáñez del Campo; the then French Minister of Culture; and the Chilean-French architect Emilio Duhart, who was in charge of the project.
Designed by Emilio Duhart in collaboration with Sergio Larraín García-Moreno, the school is one of the most representative works of modern architecture in Chile. The design integrates functionality, cultural identity, and a close relationship with the landscape, making it a landmark of 20th-century educational architecture.
On September 5, 1959, in the presence of French Minister André Malraux, the institution was officially inaugurated, marking the beginning of a history spanning more than six decades dedicated to educating generations of students based on the values of academic excellence, humanism, and intercultural openness.
