Set against the backdrop of this large artificial lake, located 180 km south of Santiago, CM1 (4th grade) students have the opportunity each year to learn and spend time together for a week outside the classroom. During this time, they take kayaking and sailing lessons, as well as participate in activities designed to help them explore their surroundings, engage in recreational pursuits, and read.
The students are accompanied by their homeroom teacher, a group leader, a chaperone, two experienced instructors, and two instructor assistants, as part of a project developed by the teaching staff of the corresponding grade level and consistent with the educational objectives.
