Mapping Controversies 2025 – A Large-Scale Educational Project in the AMLASUD Region
From June 5 to 7, students from seven French high schools in the #Amlasud region—Lima, La Paz, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Concepción, and Santiago—gathered at our Chamisero campus to participate in “Mapping Controversies,” an AEFE educational project that simulates the resolution of international conflicts, similar to the Model United Nations.
On this occasion, two complex topics were explored:
Deepwater Drilling
Soybeans, South America's "green gold"
Each student, acting as an ambassador, debated, took a stance, and formulated proposals to reflect on the major environmental challenges of our time—a demanding educational exercise that combines diplomacy, reasoning, and commitment.
We would like to thank all the teachers from the various participating schools, our expert guests, and the administrative and support staff, all of whom contributed greatly to the success of this project.
We congratulate the students who participated for their outstanding performance! It was a wonderful moment of collaboration, critical reflection, and civic education.
An AEFE initiative that educates the citizens of tomorrow!
